Business executive Carol Burgess began her professional career in the late 2000s, working as a paralegal after completing a master’s in Criminal Justice and receiving her paralegal certification at Florida International University (FIU). In 2013, she established Dee’s Professional Services – a Document Preparation company for individuals needing immigration and court document services. 

As an immigrant, she was impassioned to help other immigrants attain their US residency and citizenship. For Burgess, Dee’s was inspired and remains driven by the concept, ‘Immigration work done by Immigrants’. The importance of bringing immigrant families together has always been the heart and soul of what Dee’s Professional Services is about. 

With Burgess at the helm of Dee’s, she would go on to spearhead its growth into one of South Florida’s leading and highly recommended immigration and tax support firms in the area. As an Enrolled Agent certified by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Burgess later expanded the company service catalog to provide Tax Consulting and Tax Preparation services, and used this expertise to position herself as a top tax expert in the US.
